Press release: Visustin v6 makes PDF flow charts from codeFor Immediate Release Visustin v6 makes PDF flow charts from codeVisustin v6 has been released by Aivosto. Visustin is a flow chart generator that converts source code to flow charts. The new Visustin v6 can create PDF flow charts from 36 programming languages. Visustin reads source code and visualizes each function as a flow chart. This helps to see how the functions operate. A "bird's eye" view gives a less detailed overview of a complex routine. Viewing two charts side by side lets one compare different versions of a function. PDF support is new in Visustin v6. The ability to zoom makes PDF flow charts a convenient format for documenting even the most convoluted modules. Since the flow charts represent the actual code, not a plan, they are an accurate visualization of what the program really does. Visustin v6 diagrams 36 programming languages used on Windows, Mac, Linux, mainframe and embedded systems. The new version adds support for JCL, Matlab, PL/I, Rexx and SAS code. It is possible to flowchart both simple scripts and convoluted legacy systems. In addition to flow charts, Visustin creates UML Activity Diagrams and Visio flow diagrams directly from code.
